Joint Pains Can Be Caused by Venereal Diseases or Other Infections

Doctors used to think that there were two major types of continuing joint pains. In one type, called reactive or rheumatoid arthritis, there is an immune or infectious reaction that damages joints. The other type, called osteoarthritis or degenerative arthritis, there is a wearing away of cartilage, the white gristle that covers bones where they come together to form joints.

Finger Joint Swelling

Often, but not always, osteoarthritis is characterized by swelling of the joints near the fingernails, while immune types of arthritis are characterized by swelling of the joints in the middle of the fingers and knuckles. People with degenerative arthritis ordinarily have negative blood tests for arthritis which portion increased immunity against infections, while those with reactive or rheumatoid arthritis often have some clear blood tests.

Myriad bacteria and viruses can cause arthritis, and antibiotics are often productive in controlling symptoms. Retroviruses can be found in joint fluid of patients with rheumatoid arthritis. Venereal diseases, such as chlamydia, mycoplasma, ureaplasma, gonorrhea and Gardnerella cause arthritis, and the practicing physician has no ready tests that are reliable in diagnosing these infections.

Even when doctors treat infectious arthritis with gigantic intravenous doses of antibiotics for 10 weeks, the germs can persist in the joint fluid. Patients with supposedly non-infectious osteoarthritis can have C-reactive protein in joint fluid, signifying an infection. Long-term antibiotics are often productive in controlling the symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis, while short-term antibiotics are ordinarily ineffective. The antibiotic, doxycycline may forestall joint destruction by stabilizing cartilage in addition to clearing the germ from the body.

The most generally found arthritis health is osteoarthritis, which affects the joints due to age, trauma or infection. Rheumatoid arthritis is a gradual condition, developing over some months and years. The symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis begin with little joint aches and pains.

Finger Joint Swelling

Rheumatoid arthritis, described in a nutshell, is a chronic, systemic autoimmune disorder. The joints inflame and degenerate gradually, causing pain and discomfort throughout. The first symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis are usually inflammation and pain in fingers and toes. While the health mostly affects the joints, about 15% of the patients manufacture extra-articular (external to the joints) rheumatoid arthritis as well.

In general, the symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis are not uniform, rising up and dying down sporadically. This is known as "flare-ups."The symptoms can appear day or night, but the swelling and pain are often at their worst during the morning, just after waking. Since you move colse to during the day, or at least try to, and the joints grow less stiffened, the symptoms ease out by afternoon and often sacrifice dramatically by nighttime.

When rheumatoid arthritis begins to spread, it usually affects other joints, including the jaw, shoulders, elbows and hips. The pain and inflammation often affects joint pairs, such as both elbows or both knees. This is a base tendency looking in patients with the condition. The typical symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis are joint pain, swelling and stiffness, often accompanied by a warming sensation and flush colse to the joints.

A set of symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis, are referred to as secondary symptoms. These are linked to normal health conditions as a response to the pain. These could be loss of appetite, anxiety, stress, depression, anemia, nodules under the skin, and a normal feeling of being ill. Over 25% of the patients complain of skin nodules, specifically in the forearms and in the elbows. Though painless, they are small lumps that can be felt and sometimes seen as bumps on the skin. Anemia is a health of inadequate red blood cells to carry oxygen to the whole body, and it leads to fatigue, and laziness. This is found in over 80% of the patients.

There are instances of all symptoms combining to lead to weight loss and fever in patients with severe rheumatoid arthritis. It does not end with just these, it also leads to inability to sleep, constant discomfort due to pain and weakness. This leads to a feeling of illness worse than before. Other symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis comprise swelling of blood vessels, glands like the tear and salivary glands, and inflammation of the lining of the heart and lungs.

The symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis point to a series of risk factors like age, gender, genetic history and harmful habits like smoking. Women in the 40-60 age group are at a higher risk. Adolescent rheumatoid arthritis is rare but not unheard of. This health is generally not hereditary, but dormant genes can flare up with inescapable triggers.

What Are the Symptoms of Autoimmune Diseases?

Lupus. Hashimotos. Celiac Disease. Ibs, or Irritable Bowel Syndrome. Addison's Disease. Ms, or complicated Sclerosis. Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. Fibromyalgia.

Finger Joint Swelling

Am I naming random diseases picked out of a hat, or do these things have something serious in common? Well, they do have something in base - they're all autoimmune diseases, and they influence millions of citizen each year.

Autoimmune disease isn't discriminatory, whether - a millionaire can unmistakably get the same autoimmune disease that a poor family's child can, and there's no limits on what it can do to the body.

Some of these disease can be very serious - like lupus - while some are less harmful, but still hurt - like fibromyalgia. All of them influence us, however, and very few of us who are not affected know about them.

By basic definition, an autoimmune disease isn't when a foreign thing, like a virus, bacteria, or fungus enters the blood stream, and then attacks the body like crazy. An autoimmune disease is a bit more complicated.

Why? Well, an autoimmune disease is when the body's own defenses - the immune law - unmistakably attacks the body itself. It's as if it gets confused with what it's supposed to do, where it sees the body as something foreign and starts attacking it.

When you have an autoimmune disease, it unmistakably is your own body working against itself. There are numerous treatments available for autoimmune disorders as well as natural and nutritional retain to try and help keep the symptoms at bay.

Many autoimmune diseases share the same symptoms - while the body is attacking separate parts in separate ways, it still boils down to the body attacking.

Here are the most base autoimmune diseases, and their associated symptoms. Look straight through them and see what fits, or quest out a specific autoimmune disorder to see if it fits your symptoms.

Another base indication of illness is a fever that you can't construe - the fever is unmistakably there because your immune law is working hard, just not against a virus.

Swollen glands is someone else symptom, along with extreme fatigue most of the time (Because your body's working), unexplained hair loss, a butterfly rash and unusual sensitivity to the sun.

Other potential symptoms are chest pain, pale fingers or toes, swelling in the legs, and mouth ulcers. Lupus presents in a range of ways, and if you surmise that you might have it, check with your doctor.

Celiac Disease

Many citizen have celiac disease and not even comprehend it - It is an intestinal disorder where a man has an issue with digesting gluten.

Gluten is in foods like bread, noodles, muffins... Think of doughy foods, and you'll find gluten - you can also find it in surprising things, like sausage, cereal or even oats.

In order to prevent the symptoms of celiac disease and begin the medical process, you need to live a gluten-free life. That means eating specialized foods that are gluten-free.

Some symptoms of celiac disease contain anemia, bloody stool, pain in your stomach, weakness, joint pain, bone pain, diarrhea, weight loss, fatigue, stool that is greasy, bleeding tendency, and even changes in your dental enamel.

Alternative Cures for Arthritis

Arthritis causes health problems and disabilities in nearly 70 million Americans, or about one in every three adults, and the numbers are only on the rise. Arthritis symptoms can vary from mild to severe, sometimes even foremost to disability. Roughly 17% of disability cases are caused by arthritis, resulting in astronomical costs for the individual, their families, and the state.

Finger Joint Swelling

Arthritis is not a disease but a group of diseases whose base denominator is inflammation, stiffness, minute movement, pain, and destruction of the joints. Three out of 5 arthritis sufferers are under the age of 65, so arthritis is not just a disease of the elderly.

The most base form is Osteoarthritis, which is also known as wear and tear arthritis". It is generally conception of as by goods of the aging process like gray hair, and wrinkles. Osteoarthritis starts usually in the middle age, long before the first symptoms are noticed. The cartilage that covers the bone starts to deteriorate, allowing bones to rub together. Bone spurs and cysts are base developments. While this degeneration process the muscles, tendons and ligaments may come to be strained, causing inflammation and pain. The main problem with Osteoarthritis is pain; inflammation is a problem in the later stages of arthritis. Sometimes there is no pain, but the affected joints loose range of petition and come to be stiff.

Osteoarthritis appears in two general forms, primary and secondary. primary osteoarthritis is the more base form, is a slow and progressive health that usually strikes after the age of 45, affecting mostly the weight bearing joints of the knees and hips, as well as the lower back, neck, large toe and finger joints. It develops through placing inordinate loads on a joint or when a uncostly load is located on an inferior joint. The exact cause is yet to be determined, although heredity and obesity are risk factors.

Secondary osteoarthritis appears usually as a consequent of trauma or injury to the joint (like a football injury or car accident), metabolic imbalances (gout or calcium deposits, iron overload, thyroid disease, or long term use of inevitable medications), joint infection, or even surgery. It strikes citizen younger than 45. Trauma appears to be the main imagine for developing osteoarthritis. The trauma could be acute (accident) or chronic (recurring over time). chronic trauma causes cumulative damage to the joint. The onset is usually felt as a minute ache that becomes severe and debilitating over time. An unstable or loose joint because of a torn ligament would be an example of this. Repetitive impact loading is someone else form of chronic trauma. This involves a repetitive petition that traumatizes the joint tissue (baseball pitcher, drill operator, ballerina). Repetitive impact loading is one of the main causes of secondary osteoarthritis, especially in joints that are already suffering from abnormal alignment or that are used in ways that they shouldn't be. Not all-high stress action damages joint tissues, most of them can. Osteoarthritis might also be the cause because of poor bone alignment, improperly formed joints, or they way you walk.

Osteoarthritis and Rheumatoid arthritis are often confused because of the similarity in their names. Rheumatoid arthritis is an autoimmune disease that causes the body's immune system to assault its own tissues. It causes weakness, fatigue, fever, anemia, and other problems, along with inflamed joints. Rheumatoid arthritis tends to strikes symmetrically, meaning it strikes both joints (left and right side of the body). It initially strikes in the middle of the ages of 25 and 50, versus Osteoarthritis usually after 45. Ra often comes and goes without warning; Oa develops moderately over several years. Oa begins in one joint. Ra symptoms are redness, warmth, and swelling, in Oa these symptoms are unusual in the early stages. Ra affects many or most joints like knees, knuckles, wrists, elbows, and shoulders. Oa primarily affects joints of the hands, hips, feet and spine, only occasionally attacks other joints. Ra causes an allembracing feeling of sickness and fatigue, as well as weight loss and fever; Oa doesn't cause an allembracing feeling of sickness.

It is the base consensus that arthritis is incurable, and can only be managed with pain and anti-inflammatory medication. This treatment plan will only mask the symptoms and will not address the fundamental causes, so the disease can advance further. Also these drugs have serious side effects. Thousands of citizen die every year from adverse side effects of anti-inflammatory, acetaminophen, and steroids.

Healthy cartilage needs 3 things; water for lubrication and nourishment, proteoglycans to attract and hold the water, and collagen to keep the proteoglycans in place.

There are alternative treatment plans ready to can be of great help to the arthritis sufferer.

Food Link to arthritis, food allergies and intolerances could aggravate and cause arthritis. Retention your body at an ideal weight, and supplying your body with all the nutrients it needs to rebuild muscle and bone tissue is important. Eating an alkalizing diet that includes fresh fruits and vegetables, lean protein and complex carbohydrates, and cutting back on sugar and bad fats. Arthritis is a disease of an over acidic system. Practicing measure operate and developing good eating habits will help you loose weight and mouth it, while feeling best and more energetic. Limit your purine intake, purines are found in organ meats, anchovies, and sardines. Excess purine levels in the blood lead to uric acid, which has been linked to Gout and arthritis. Alcohol increases also increases uric acid production. Intake of refined sugar has a negative impact on blood sugar balance, the immune system, and promotes inflammation. The family of nightshade of vegetables, like tomatoes, eggplants, potatoes, and peppers are the most base culprits to cause an arthritic condition.

Increasing your water intake can be of great help. Many chronic health conditions are caused by chronic dehydration. You can eliminate many problems by just drinking more water.

Supplementations can be of great benefit, if the right dosages and the right goods are used. This will decree if the supplementation will be effective. The three most promising supplements for arthritis suffers are Glucosamine, chondroitin, and Asu.

Glucosamine consists of glucose and the amino acid glutamine. It is an foremost part of the mucopolysaccharides, which provide structure to the bone, cartilage, skin, nails, hair, and other body tissue. Glucosamine is a major building block of the proteogylycans.

The recommended dosage for Glucosamine Hcl it is 1500 mg, or 1884 mg for Glucosamine sulfate once daily or twice divided into two equal doses. Glucosamine sulfate is the form used in most research. Glucosamine Hcl is somewhat preferred, because Glucosamine sulfate needs to be stabilized with salt or potassium. This could lead to an unwanted rise in blood pressure, depending how much salt or potassium was added.

Chondroitin works similar to the natural occurring chondroitin in the body's cartilage, it protects the old cartilage from premature breakdown and stimulates the synthesis of new cartilage.

The recommended dosage for Chondroitin is 800 to 1200 mg once daily or twice divided into 2 equal doses.

Glucosamine and Chondroitin taking together is preferred, because the work synergistically. They stimulate synthesis of new cartilage, while simultaneously controlling the cartilage destroying enzymes, and Retention the chondrocytes healthy. These supplements treating the disease on a cellular level, helping the body heal itself. While pain medications only mask the symptoms of the disease.

Asu is a natural vegetable excerpt made from Avocado and Soybean oils. Avocado Soybean Unsaponifables has been a prescription treatment for osteoarthritis in France since the early 1990s. Asu differs from Glucosamine and Chondroitin, because it is a compound of many distinct plant substances. Asu comes from the natural avocado and soybean oils; the supplements ratio is one part avocado to 2 parts soybean. The processing of Asu is very complex and expensive. Asu is even more complex than making Glucosamine and Chondroitin. There are complicated active ingredients in Asu that need very meticulous handling to be purified and stabilized. Some companies are selling avocado and soy oils, and not the active Asu ingredients. Avocado and Soy oils do not comprise the same active components, in the same quantities, as the extremely processed, purified, and concentrated ingredients as in the valid products.

Recommended dosage for Asu is 300 mg once daily.

When buying any supplement, you have to make sure that it is of good quality. One way to ensure this is to buy products that adhere to Good Manufacturing Protocols. The box should have Gmp stamped on it. The goods could be inferior even if the label states that it is "laboratory tested". This could only refer to the raw material, which is of course inconclusive, and many things can happen in the process of making a supplement. Only testing of the end goods is an thorough form of assuring strict readings. Taking inferior products, ones that don't use capability ingredients, or products that are not manufactured with the proper controls, is simply a waste of time and money. Unfortunately this is the case with most products on the market today.

Chondroitin is more high-priced to compose than Glucosamine. As a consequent companies are more interest in profit than capability may try to skimp on chondroitin by providing less than is listed on the label; using dosages lower than those supported by research; substituting cheaper, less active, or inactive substances; obtaining chondroitin from companies that don't consequent the strictest capability standards in processing.

All three products are general safe. Glucosamine is safe for diabetics; it delivers the same of sugar as a grape. The majority of Glucosamine is manufactured from the shells of lobsters, shrimp and crab. The meat protein that causes the allergic reaction is not found in the shell. citizen with shellfish allergy should be meticulous and ask their doctor, or take Regenasure, the vegetarian form. There are no reports on adverse reactions. There is no evidence to preserve the danger contracting mad cows disease from Chondroitin. The bacteria would be killed While processing.

Be aware of products that claim to be long lasting, time-released or operate delivery. Glucosamine, Chondroitin and Asu are long chronic themselves. Also for best results, you want them to be released as quickly as possible.

Double and triple force products indicate that you need to take fewer tablets to perform the same results. This basically means larger tablets, which is not a good idea for somebody that has a problem swallowing.

Liquid supplements are usually not as carport as powders or capsules. There is no evidence that liquid absorbs best than capsules, in this single case. It is potential that absorption is lower in liquid products. Stomach acid is foremost for proper absorption of glucosamine. The liquid products could dilute the acid, interfering with absorption. There is also a problem with poor taste, and drinking more water to mask it, again diluting the product.

Be cautious of the word complex in Glucosamine/Chondroitin products. It generally means that other substances have been added, like manganese or

Vitamin C. It could also mean that the goods was diluted with N-acetylglucosamine. This could lead to a reduced effectiveness of the potency. Chondroitin complex usually means that inferior products are used, like Msm, hydrolyzed collagen, chicken cartilage, and linked substances that are not Chondroitin. This reduces cost and brings more profit for the manufacturer, but hurts the consumer by providing them with an ineffective product.

Avoid topical forms. Glucosamine and Chondroitin are completely useless if applied topically.

Use caution if there is a money back guarantee. Most manufacturers make their money with shipping alone.

Be cautious if something claims to be best than Glucosamine and Chondroitin, with the exception of Asu, there is nothing to preserve this claim scientifically.

Avoid store brands. The Fda does not strictly regulate dietary supplements. There is no such thing as a "generic" supplement - there are only good or poor supplements. You are probably not getting the active ingredients you need in a store brand.

Product capability remains as the most foremost barrier in using glucosamine/chondroitin and Asu supplements. When buying these products make sure to buy from a firm that follows good manufacturing practices; buy products that have also been tested and recommended by independent laboratories.

Other supplements that are beneficial comprise Vitamin C, Vitamin B 6, Vitamin E, Magnesium, Omega 3s, Selenium, Calcium and Boron.

The treatments involve diet and nutrition, herbs, yoga exercises, meditation, massage, and breathing exercises.

Chiropractic and Osteopathy: both modalities aim to bring the body back into alignment by adjusting the bones of the body. The nervous system is brought back into proper working order by restoring proper balance to the spinal column and joints, allowing nerve impulses to travel freely from the brain via the spinal column to all body parts. Impeded blood and nerve flow results in pain and disease, if not corrected.

Herbs: Herb treatment and aromatherapy use plants, herbs and other natural substances to stimulate the body to return to the state of health. Though herbs are medicines, they tend to be much safer than chemical drugs for many reasons; they are less potent, more recognizable to the body, and usually used in combinations and potencies that minimize harmful side effects.

Thumb Arthritis: This Joint Pain Is More coarse Than You Think

This health can cause many problems for sufferers, together with loss of grip and, of course, a great deal of pain. But what are its causes and is there a remedy?

Finger Joint Swelling

Thumb arthritis regularly occurs after the age of forty and is more tasteless in women than in men. The first indication of illness of thumb arthritis is regularly pain experienced at the base of the thumb when gripping an object or when applying force - say to turn a key or open the lid of a jar. This form of osteoarthritis can make these uncomplicated household tasks difficult as it limits the strength and range of motion of the thumb.

Other symptoms may include swelling, stiffness and tenderness at the base of the thumb, decreased strength when grasping objects, enlarged appearance or a 'bony' look to the base of the thumb and general ache and aching after use.

The exact cause of this health is unknown (in tasteless with osteoarthritis generally) but the following factors are concept to conduce to its development:

Being female
Having a job that puts high stress on the thumb joint
Having certain hereditary conditions - joint ligament laxity, defective cartilage etc.
Having past injuries such as fractures or sprains to the basal thumb joint
Being over forty years of age
Having existing rheumatoid arthritis

The basal thumb joint allows your thumb its wide range of movement and consists of the trapezium (the small bone at the base of your thumb), the first metacarpal (the thumb's first bone) and the wrist's scaphotrapezio-trapezoidal joint (Stt).

In a general basal joint, cartilage covers the ends of the bone, acting as a cushion to let the bones glide smoothly over each other. In thumb arthritis, the cartilage deteriorates allowing the bone ends to rub and roughen - the main cause of pain.

Your body's attempts to repair the damage may lead to new bone increase (spurs), which are noticeable on the joint. Each of the repair steps also produces the pain generally associated with this condition.

Although there is no cure for thumb arthritis, self-care measures do exist. These include specialised splints, prescribed medication or corticosteroid injections. In greatest cases surgical operation may be the only way to gain a portion of relief.

It would seem then that there is no real remedy for thumb arthritis, any more than other general arthritic conditions, but that early determination and medicine may serve to alleviate the worst symptoms of what can otherwise be a very debilitating condition. Changing lifestyle or work practices may help - any discount of strain on the affected joint should bring some portion of relief. Too, adapting to the health by using aids to mobility or dexterity can help, alleviating some of the frustration that is often felt by sufferers of arthritis and allowing the someone affected to reserve as much independence as possible. Exercise (as opposed to stressing) of the joint can also help to reserve its range of motion.

As with all curative issues, it is significant that you consult your physician if you presume the onset of any form of arthritis.

doctor - I Have Symptoms of Pain and Swelling in My Hands and Feet - What Could It Be?

While there are complicated causes of swelling and pain in the hands and feet, arthritis is probably the most coarse cause.

Finger Joint Swelling

The term "arthritis" is derived from the Greek and means "joint inflammation". It refers to more than 100 different diseases that can cause pain, swelling, and stiffness in the joints. Joints are where the ends of long bones connect and interact. The end of each bone inside a joint has a thin layer of cartilage and is held in place by ligaments, tendons, and muscles. A joint is lined with synovial tissue (synovium) that helps to nourish the joint. It is the synovium that often becomes inflamed in arthritis.

Arthritis may also influence other supporting structures around joints such as the muscles, tendons, ligaments, and bones. Some serious forms of arthritis can influence internal organs.

The coarse symptoms of arthritis are due to inflammation (swelling, heat, redness, pain):

o Swelling in one or more joints

o Stiffness in the joints in the morning or with continued inactivity

o Joint pain or tenderness

o Restricted mobility in the joints

o Warmth or redness

Diagnosing arthritis can be difficult because some symptoms are often coarse to many different diseases. A rheumatologist will first do a faultless corporal exam, seeing for clues. The eyes, ears, nose, throat, heart, lungs, and other parts of the body will be examined along with the joints. Lab tests and imaging procedures such as x-ray, ultrasound, or magnetic resonance imaging (Mri) may also be ordered.

The most coarse forms of arthritis are:

Osteoarthritis (Oa) is also referred to as degenerative joint disease. This is the most coarse type of arthritis. When it affects the hands, it can cause painful swelling in the last row (Heberden's nodes) and middle row (Bouchards nodes) of finger joints. In the feet it will influence the toe joints as well as the mid-foot. This disease affects cartilage, the tissue that cushions and protects the ends of bones in a joint. With osteoarthritis, the cartilage starts to wear away prematurely. The swelling of the fingers and toes may lead to bony deformity.

Rheumatoid arthritis (Ra) is an autoimmune disease; the body's immune theory (defense mechanism against infection) attacks normal tissues. This autoimmune reaction causes inflammation of the synovium. Ra symptoms contain pain, stiffness, swelling, rapid loss of joint function, and crippling. When severe, rheumatoid arthritis can also influence internal organs. This is the type of arthritis that most generally causes severe inflammation in the hands and feet.

Rheumatoid arthritis tends to be symmetric- one side of the bodt being affected just like the other.

Fibromyalgia is a continuing disease characterized by generalized aches and pains. The pain is accompanied by stiffness that is worst in the morning but tends to last all day long. Patients may have localized tender points occurring in the muscles and tendons, particularly in the neck, spine, shoulders, and hips. These tender points are called trigger points. Fatigue and sleep disturbances may also occur. There is subjective swelling along with pain in the hands and feet.

Gout and pseudogout are inflammatory forms of arthritis due to deposits of crystals in joints and other body tissues. Uric acid is the culprit in gout and calcium pyrophosphate is the villain in pseudogout. Both diseases cause painful attacks of arthritis affecting the hands and feet.

Infectious arthritis is a type of arthritis caused by whether bacteria or viruses. A relatively coarse form of infectious arthritis is Lyme disease. Infectious forms of arthritis can cause swelling and pain in the hands and feet. A analysis is often difficult to establish. Antibiotics will often be used to treat bacterial infectious arthritis.

Reactive arthritis is an autoimmune arthritis that develops after a man has an infection in the urinary tract or intestine. This qoute is often referred to as Reiter's disease. Citizen who have this disease often have eye inflammation (iritis), rashes, and mouth sores. Inflammatory arthritis challenging the hands and feet prominent to a toe or finger that looks like a sausage (dactylitis) is common.

Psoriatic arthritis. Some Citizen who have psoriasis also have arthritis. This disease often affects the hands and feet. It is regularly asymmetric. It also causes deformity of the fingernails and toenails (onycholysis) that is often misdiagnosed as a fungal problem. Sometimes the spine- neck and low back-can be affected. As with Reiter's disease, dactylitis often occurs.

Systemic lupus erythematosus is someone else autoimmune disease. Lupus can influence many organ systems including the joints, skin, kidneys, lungs, blood vessels, heart, and brain. This is a cause of swelling and pain challenging the hands and feet.

Juvenile rheumatoid arthritis is the most coarse type of arthritis affecting children. It leads to pain, stiffness, swelling, and loss of function in the joints. A patient can also have rashes and fevers with this disease. Hands, wrists, ankles, and feet are often affected.

Polymyalgia rheumatica. Symptoms contain pain, aching, and morning stiffness in the shoulders, hips, thighs, and neck. It is sometimes the first sign of giant cell arteritis, an inflammatory disease of the arteries characterized by headaches, scalp tenderness, weakness, weight loss, and fever. The hands and feet may be affected although less often than other joints. The erythrocyte sedimentation rate (sed rate), a blood test that measures inflammation, is often greatly elevated.

Bursitis is inflammation of the bursae- the small, fluid-filled sacs that help cushion joints. The inflammation may accompany arthritis in the joint or injury or infection of the bursae. Bursitis produces pain and tenderness and may limit the movement of joints.

Tendinitis is inflammation of tendons (the fibrous cords of tissue that connect muscles to bones) caused by overuse, injury, or arthritis. Tendinitis produces pain and tenderness and may restrict movement of joints.

Not all conditions that cause symptoms of pain and swelling in the hands and feet are due to arthritis. Here are some non-arthritis causes...

Polycythemia vera (Pv) is a disorder that is due to immoderate output of red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets. Some patients with Pv will not have any symptoms at all, but many will experience easy bruising or bleeding with minimal trauma. Also, the blood may come to be thick, causing it to clot in tiny blood vessels. If clotting does occur in the small blood vessels of the fingers and toes, a patient may experience dullness or burning. Swelling and pain in the hands and feet may also occur.

Some healing conditions cause edema...swelling of the hands, ankles, feet, face, abdomen, or other areas of the body. Swelling is most often seen in the hands, in the feet, or around the eyes. The swelling often causes pain.

Edema is due to immoderate fluid accumulation. It can be caused by abnormal kidney function, continuing kidney disease, congestive heart failure, varicose veins, phlebitis, protein or thiamine deficiency, sodium retention, or cancer.

Other reasons for edema are pregnancy, standing for continued periods of time, premenstrual syndrome, oral contraceptives, an injury (sprain), hypothyroidism (low thyroid), anemia, adrenal disease, deficiencies of potassium and B vitamins, or allergic reactions.

The cause of the edema needs to be determined. Diagnoses such as congestive heart disease, kidney disease, or liver disease should be ruled out.

Insect stings can lead to swelling and pain in the hands and feet. The same type of reaction may occur with medications, such as penicillin or sulfa. This is referred to as serum sickness.

Acromegaly is a disease where a tumor in the pituitary gland causes an overproduction of increase hormone. This leads to swelling and pain in the hands and feet.

Frostbite is someone else cause of swelling and pain in the hands and feet.

Blood clots in the veins are someone else cause of swelling and pain in the limbs. This rarely affects the upper extremities (arms). If it does, diseases associated with clotting abnormalities should be suspected.

Reflex sympathetic dystrophy (causalgia) is an unusual disorder that leads to swelling and pain in an affected limb. generally it occurs in an arm or a leg, rarely both at the same time. The preceding event is regularly some type of trauma.

Causes of High White Blood Cell Count

There are any possible causes for a high white blood cell count. This count is high when there are more disease-fighting cells in your body. The technical term for this health is leukocytosis.

Finger Joint Swelling

Different medical practices may have distinct limits by which they define high white blood cell count. A count of 10,500 leukocytes in one microliter of blood is widely approved as a high count. The threshold may vary in the middle of sex and age.

White blood cells are categorized by five subtypes, and each type has a distinct activity in fighting disease. When you get the results of your white blood cell count, they will regularly specify what the levels are of all the distinct types. Usually, a high count is only caused by an increase in one type of white blood cells.

A high white blood cell count is indicative of an immune principles problem that increases their production; a disease in your bone marrow that causes high blood cell production; a reaction to some drug that is used to enhance cell production; or the increase thinkable, when your body is fighting off an infection.

There are some more specific reasons why your white blood cell count may be high:

Acute lymphocytic leukemia (All) is a cancer that lives in the bone marrow and blood. This disease is a rapidly progressive one. Children are more affected by this than any other type of cancer, although adults can fabricate the disease as well.

Drugs like epinephrine and corticosteroids can affect your white cell count.

Measles is an infection that affects mainly the respiratory tract. It is very contagious. The signs contain skin rash, fever, sore throat, inflamed eyes, runny nose and cough. The measles vaccine is an exquisite way to protect children against this disease, but face of the civilized countries, many children are not vaccinated. This disease will spread rapidly among habitancy who have not had the vaccination.

Rheumatoid arthritis is a serious type of arthritis from which you will experience joint damage and pain. It attacks your joints' lining and this causes swelling. In turn, that leads to throbbing, aching pain and perhaps eventual deformity. Rheumatoid arthritis, also called Ra, can make even the easiest of normal activities hard to accomplish.

Some of the other causes of high white blood cell count include:

Stress, be it emotional or physical
Smoking
Tuberculosis
Tissue damage, like one receives with burns
Acute or persisting myelogenous leukemia
Chronic or acute lymphocytic leukemia
Whooping cough
Severe allergic reactions
Myelofibrosis
Polycythemia vera
Other viral infections
Other bacterial infections

What Causes Left Arm Shoulder Pain?

Left arm shoulder pain is one type of pain that can of course influence work. It even impedes one from functioning normally. In fact, habitancy affected with this question commonly find it hard to perform even the simplest activities of daily living like taking a bath, or driving. The causes of this pain may be very simple and safe bet or deadly and discreet. Here's some of the most coarse pain triggers.

Finger Joint Swelling

Starting off with the most serious, one should always reason an basal heart question when experiencing left arm shoulder pain. It is best to expect the worst, than ignore it and then regret in the end. Heart problems or heart conditions, such as angina, or the crushing feeling in the heart may be felt as a pain that is radiating to the left shoulder down to the left arm. A heart attack, even if it's the most minor, can also be felt as a dull or shooting pain travelling from the left shoulder distally to the arm. So first thing to do, reconsider going to the physician and get heart conditions ruled-out as the cause of the pain.

Now that the heart is not the problem, one can collate the usual activities one does at work or at home. An overused shoulder little to the left body region specifically to the shoulder and arm can evolve into a very painful sensation. collate if work and home activities consist of excessive stretching, flexing, extending or rotating. If they do, try minimizing these actions, or at least development both left and right shoulder do the work than isolating it only to the left area.

Bad position and improper body mechanics can also lead to left arm shoulder pain. Bad positioning includes the posture one holds while sleeping. It also involves the prolonged position one commonly hold for a long time at work, such as leaning on the left side for hours, among others.

If the left arm shoulder pain is characterized as dull and heavy, it may be due to lasting stress. Although it seems harmless, stress can take its toll on the body by representing itself as a painful sensation anywhere in the body. In this case, it may be come in the form of pain in the left arm and shoulder.

Obvious fracture, strong force, or damaging injury can also make the left arm and shoulder painful. This is because when blood and other cellular components leave through the muscles, the area becomes swollen and sore. One can also try checking for nerve impingement in the left arm and shoulder. A trapped nerve can be due to a growth, a cyst, or a lasting inflammation, that is constantly pressing the nerve, development it very painful.

The list of the causes of left arm shoulder pain doesn't end here. There are other reasons why left arm and shoulder aches. The important thing is to make sure that the pain is not due to a life-threatening heart condition. At least it is a relief, although not from pain.

Arthritis Trigger Finger - What is it and What Can You Do About It?

Stenosing tenosynovitis is more ordinarily known as trigger finger arthritis. There is a misconception that the trigger finger is the pointer or index finger when it comes to this kind of arthritis. This is because the index finger is particularly used in pulling the trigger of a gun. But the truth is arthritis trigger finger can occur in any finger of the hand.

Finger Joint Swelling

What Is It?

Trigger finger is certainly a "snapping" or "popping" of a finger of the hand as it is concluded or opened. The snapping is the infer why it was called trigger finger in the first place. This health is more ordinarily found in the index, middle and ring fingers. And the snapping is facilely heard upon attempting to flex the fingers while manufacture a firm grip. There is a sudden stuttering of the digit as it closes then snaps close instead of the usual plane way.

Sometimes, the affected finger cannot anymore stretch back into position and there is a locking in that position so that the other hand will have to help it towards extension. Upon extension, another snap is heard. Pain accompanies the snapping, foremost the inpatient to the doctor.

The popping of the finger is the hallmark of trigger finger and is ordinarily worse in the morning upon getting up. But as the health worsens, the popping becomes more regular. In the worst scenario, the bump or swollen part of the tendon may lock in place so that it gets stuck there.

What Causes Trigger Finger?

So how do we get this condition? Actually, trigger finger is an inflammation of the tendon that pulls the finger to a concluded position upon flexion. It may also be caused by scarring in the same tendon. Most of the time, it comes in isolated cases. In this particular case, though, trigger finger comes with other symptoms within the hand that accompanies rheumatoid arthritis in the area.

Rheumatoid arthritis is an abnormal health that is caused by wear and tear or overuse. So prolonged use of the fingers can ultimately lead to micro-injuries that may later on swell and lead to trigger finger. Aside from this, rheumatoid arthritis has been found to be a hereditary health where it runs in families. Therefore, adding wear-and-tear may trigger it onset or exacerbate the already-present condition.

In 2005, it has been found that most of the patients with rheumatoid arthritis come with symptoms of swelling around the tendons of the palm, later on foremost to trigger finger. The onset of this health is gradual and is more ordinarily seen in women with the fourth finger being the most ordinarily involved. Studies also prove that trigger finger does not come from heavy use but with light constant use of the area.

How Can It Be Treated?

If we do get trigger finger, what can we do treat it? There are home remedies available for the medicine of this health and for most types of arthritis in general. Doing passive stretching of the hand and fingers toward extension is a good way to preclude the formation of adhesions in the area and to heighten blood circulation as well. Putting ice intermittently in the area for 15 minutes or more certainly lessens the swelling that goes with inflammation. The most foremost is performance modification where the movements that causes more symptoms should be avoided altogether.

But of policy in most instances, trigger finger cannot be treated by home remedies alone. Doctors prescription anti-inflammatory drugs that are very helpful for the medical of the part involved. Usually, drugs like ibuprofen, diclofenac and naproxen are given to patients. The fastest relief is the injection of a local cortisone around the affected tendon.

Splinting the area is also a solution to preclude usage of the tendons. This will preclude the worsening of the inflammation.

There are cases when even after 2 cortisone injections, there is no relief for the patient. This is when surgery is required to take off the scarred or inflamed tissues. Approximately half the whole of patients riposte to cortisone injection. Those who don't resort to surgery. Although with petite risk, there are cases that recur after the operation. But this is only done if the rest of the medicine therapy have been tried but were not successful.

If you feel that you are starting to show symptoms of arthritis trigger finger, do not panic. Consulting the doctor is still the best remedy. It is better to catch the health while it is still beginning. The later you go to a doctor, the more likely that you are going to feel surgery. So don't be scared, see your orthopedic doctor right away.

Thumb Joint Pain - prognosis and treatment

Understand the causes of thumb joint pain and study the permissible methods to attend to the injury. The opposing thumb is a essential asset that should not be taken for granted. The thumb sets human beings apart from most of other species on earth. It enables us to grab things and manipulate tools. Therefore, we should pay due concentration to any recurring pain on our thumbs and other fingers. Do not neglect the problem and let it deteriorate till you lose your grip.

Finger Joint Swelling

Thumb join pain can be categorised into three types; pain as a corollary of strain or injury, arthritis and Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. An injured thumb shows black and blue discoloration. You may feel pain when you move your thumb side to side. Another base cause for thumb and other fingers pain is prolonged usage of smartphones or tablets. Apply ice wrapped in a towel or submerge the thumb in cold water to ease the pain and swell. Rest the thumb so that to speed up the healing. If the pain is persistent and excruciating, go to see a physician to seek curative treatment.

Arthritis is a base cause of thumb joint pain due to old age or calcium insufficiency which leads to the weakening of the bones. The thumb joint under stress is called carpometacarpal joint or basal joint. Basal joint arthritis is also known as osteoarthritis. The cartilage that protects and cushions the thumb joint is worn out, thus causing pain during movement of the hand. Consult a physician to get a suitable splint that supports the thumb and to great control its movement. The physician may designate medication or cortisone injection to control and sacrifice joint inflammation. Medicinal surgical operation may be suggested as a explication to sacrifice the nagging thumb joint pain.

Thumb Joint Pain Due To Carpal Tunnel Syndrome

Carpal Tunnel Syndrome is a severe problem to the thumb joint pain. It is brought on by nerve damage. Most habitancy with this syndrome use their hands in repetitive motions which compress the nerves in the wrists which are situated between the carpal bones and the transverse ligament. The pain may generate from the wrist and gradually work it way up the thumb. The symptoms of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome include; deadness in your forearm and hand, growth deadness which cause heighten pain when you use your hand and stiffness in your finger when you wake up in the morning. It can be treated with therapy and protective splint or surgical operation can be carried out to fix the ligament.

Early detection of the cause of the painful fingers is crucial and seeking help from a physician is essential to nib the problem in the butt. Although you need to rest the painful hand to help with its healing, prolonged inactivity can aggravate the pain because lack of movement may cause the swollen joint to turn stiff. Try to keep your thumb active even you are experiencing thumb joint pain.

Akita Puppy - The First Few Days

After the delivery, mother and puppies are best left on their own, while you get some rest. When you return to the whelping box you should find a contented scene, with the mother busily attending to her babies. By now, the puppies should be sucking strongly and their coats should have dried out and will look like shining velvet. Approach carefully, so as not to disturb the mother. She needs to practise the art of not stepping on her puppies, so give her the opening to leave the box calmly and sedately, if she wishes to do so. This will give you a good opening to study her for any discharge and make sure that she can stand easily. You may have to clean her, although she will probably have done a good job of this herself. She should also be offered food and a drink at this stage.

Finger Joint Swelling

The bitch will want to return to her puppies as fast as possible. Help her to position them, and then you may begin your inspection. We do not weigh our puppies, although many habitancy do. We do not see the point, because even if they do not weigh the ideal weight, there is petite you can do about it. It is far best to let nature take its course. In the first few days all the puppies will feed well, whatever their size. It is only later that a smaller one may need help to hang on to the fullest teat, so that it is not pushed aside by larger puppies.

The first few days should be ones of watchfulness, though you should also handle the puppies, so they get used to the touch of the human hand. You will need to move them to convert their bedding, and if they know your touch right from the start, they will accept it as part of their life. Never take a puppy away from the whelping box; whatever you do must be done under the mother's nose, just as it was while the delivery. After all, they are her babies and she wants them. You are just the helper. Puppies are very quick to tell mother, and you, if there is whatever wrong. An ill or unhappy puppy will not be contented. Sometimes the mother will tell you the puppy is "rejected" by pushing it away. You may not be able to see any problem, but in our caress the bitch knows what she is doing. It is a difficult situation, but any rejected puppy should be seen by your vet to try to organize what is wrong.

Given that they are all wholesome you should check that all the puppies can feed easily. Place your petite finger on to the roof of the mouth to ensure there is no cleft palate. Feel the rear legs to check for the dew-claws. These may or may not be present. If they are, they may be large, small, duplicate or minute. Dew-claws on an Akita puppy can be placed in the usual place, just above the rear foot on the inside of the leg, or sometimes right at the lowest practically on the last toe. They are sometimes so small that you can miss them on a quick inspection. The best way to check is to slowly rub your fingernail from the toe up the inside of the leg to the hock joint. Repeat this process each day for the first five days, in case a claw has grown while that time. We always ask the vet to remove dew-claws at five days, and not before. It is not until five days that the blood gains clotting properties, and so then the operation can be done without causing bleeding and minimising the risk of infection. Keep an eye on the umbilical cord to ensure it dries up properly and that there are no signs of swelling or rupture. The whelping box should be kept warm, at about 70 degrees Fahrenheit for the first few days.

Facts and Treatments for Osteoarthritis

Osteoarthritis is also known as degenerative joint disease, and it is the most tasteless type of arthritis. Osteoarthritis occurs when there is a breakdown of cartilage in the joints. It can affect any joint in the body, but it ordinarily occurs in weight bearing joints such as the hips, knees, and spine. In addition, it also routinely affects fingers, thumbs, toes, and the neck.

Who is affected?

Osteoarthritis affects about 21 million Americans. Most citizen are at an increased risk for developing osteoarthritis as they get older, but it is foremost to perceive that even citizen in their 20s and 30s sometimes design this condition.

The symptoms of osteoarthritis include:
Pain after overuse (or after lengthy periods of inactivity) Joint swelling Joint fluid accumulation Sore, aching joints (particularly with movement) Bony enlargements in middle and end joints of the fingers (these are sometimes, but not always, painful) Causes of Osteoarthritis

One of the former causes of osteoarthritis is the aging process. Over time, the water article of cartilage increases, but the protein combination of cartilage gently begins to degenerate during this time. It is a natural health of aging that nothing can be done to reverse.

In increasing to aging, however, there are other factors that lead to the improvement of osteoarthritis in some people.
Genetics Being overweight Injury to the joints Too much stress on the joints Repetitive use of joints Interestingly, women are much more likely to design osteoarthritis than men, particularly after the age of 50. Men who are under the age of 50, however, are more likely than women in the same age group to design this condition. Researchers have still not uncovered any requisite clues that might shed some light on why this seems to be the case, however.

There are also some diseases that can put citizen at a higher risk for developing osteoarthritis. Acromegaly and hemachromatosis are two of these. Acromegaly is a metabolic disorder in which there is too much growth hormone, which causes the tissues to gently enlarge. Hemachromatosis is a disorder that interferes with the body's capability to break down iron, resulting in too much iron absorption from the intestines.

Treatment Options

While osteoarthritis is not curable, there are some effective treatments that are routinely prescribed to patients with this condition.
Prescription medications - such as anti-inflammatories, acetaminophen, Celebrex, and corticosteroid injections. Weight control Exercise Physical therapy Natural (alternative) therapies - such as massage therapy, acupuncture, aromatherapy, meditation, yoga, natural supplements. Of the medicine options available, exercise and weight control are believed to be the most effective because of the long-term good health effects that are achieved through regular exercise and maintaining a healthy body weight.

Exercise, in particular, helps to improve joint movement and strengthens the muscles surrounding the joints. Swimming and walking are two of the most ordinarily recommended exercises for those who suffer from osteoarthritis because these activities are the least stressful on the joints.

Go Easy on Your Joints

Arthritis is one of the most prevalent lasting health problems and the nation's foremost cause of disability among Americans over age 15. In 2006, 46 million or nearly 1 in 5 adults were reported to have arthritis or lasting joint disorder.

Arthritis isn't just one disease; it's a complicated disorder that comprises more than 100 distinct conditions and can work on population at any stage of life. Two of the most coarse forms are osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis.

Osteoarthritis is sometimes called degenerative arthritis because it involves the breakdown of cartilage and bones. This causes pain and stiffness. Osteoarthritis regularly affects the fingers and weight-bearing joints. It affects both men and women and regularly occurs after age 45.

Most population over age 60 have osteoarthritis to some degree, but its severity varies and some population organize more severe symptoms than others.

Rheumatoid arthritis can strike at any age but regularly appears between the ages of 20 and 50. In rheumatoid arthritis, a fault in the body's defense or immune ideas causes inflammation that begins in the joint lining and then damages both cartilage and bone. Rheumatoid arthritis is more coarse in women than in men.

These forms of arthritis have dissimilar causes, risk factors, and effects on the body. Yet they all share a coarse symptom - persistent joint pain. The joint pain of arthritis can appear as hip pain, knee pain, hand pain or wrist pain as well as joint pain in other areas of the body. If you have joint pain, stiffness and swelling for more than two weeks, chances are you have arthritis.

Treatment is often more effective when arthritis symptoms are caught early. The good news is that there are now many medications available for arthritis. Most are relatively safe and well tolerated.

Phosoplex is the No. 1 choice among health care professionals because it is all natural and safe. It is an exquisite alternative to potentially dangerous pharmaceutical Cox2 inhibitors. It also contains the highest potential ingredients found in joint care supplements. For more information, go to http://www.phosoplex.com.

So if you're still in your 20s and you're as healthy as a horse, go easy on your joints because the last thing you need is to suffer as you get older.

Managing Pain With Homeopathic Preparations

Over the past ten years scientist and doctors have learned that all pain is not the same. For instance, the pain from a laceration (cut) is thought about acute (quick to hurt for a short period) but in a cheap time frame the pain goes away.

Finger Joint Swelling

Whereas, if one compares that type pain to say a long term low back pain or diabetic neuropathy (burning feet) we refer to them as continuing pain or sometimes neuropathic pain. Most population deal with acute pain well. But, when we have pain in the same place for months with very little relief, we come to be down right irritable, sleep deprived and then depressed.

Unfortunately, all of this emotional stress and the added corporeal stress from poor sleep aggravates the pain even more. If we do not break the pain cycle swiftly (in a few weeks) our pain can come to be continuing and life long. continuing pain costs Americans $billions every year in the form of lost wages, lost productivity, healthcare costs and disability payments.

Scientist have also found that we send these pain signals to our brain by the way of at least three dissimilar nerve types. We do not realize pain until the pain message reaches our spinal cord and then the brain. They have also found that these three dissimilar nerve pathways acknowledge to dissimilar medications, treatments and yes herbs.

Lets look at an ankle sprain as an example. Ankle sprains are usually only acute pains if sufficient medicine is received quickly. When we sprain an ankle, often we stretch or slightly tear a ligament. This results in immediate pain, tenderness and swelling. Much of the cause for the pain and swelling is from inflammation. Rest, ice, elevation and an ace wrap help a lot, but they are all temporary relief. One can take ibuprofen, aspirin or naproxen sodium to deliver anti-inflammatory relief via the blood and these work well if you do not have stomach problems, high blood pressure or kidney/liver disease.

Unfortunately, since these medications are sold without a designate and sufficient warning by a curative practitioner is not usually given, many invent stomach bleeding or their blood pressure soars and they end up in the accident room. I am a curative practitioner and I see person with these side effects every week. If you talk with an accident room practitioner, they will tell you they see this every day.

Initially, when the ankle is injured the pain is transmitted to the brain over at least two of these dissimilar types of nerves. One type is a very quick responder to the pain (like when we burn the tip of a finger) the other is a more steady persistent pain transmitter. Fortunately, both of these nerves are calmed down quite well by applying topical herbal pain relievers to the skin.

When educated properly, I find most patients prefer topical herbal pain relievers over pills because they work well without side effects. In the past, most topical pain relief products did not jab the skin barrier well and most only contained menthol. Menthol alone simply does not ease pain. If it is mixed with a known anti-inflammatory and is able to jab the dermis (top layer of skin) then some real relief will occur.

For a topical pain reliever to be sufficient it must first smell good... Yes smell turns many population off. No one enjoys smelling like a sports locker room. Secondly, it must jab the dermis and reach the basement membrane of the skin. The basement membrane contains veins, capillaries and nerves on which these herbs have a suitable effect. Thirdly, these herbs must be absorbed by the blood circulation and then transported to the injured tissue. Once they reach the injured area they begin to infiltrate colse to the injured tissue (ligament, tendon, muscle, disc, joint cavity and etc.). Once the nerves are calmed and the inflammation is being relieved the pain, tenderness and swelling begin to leave. This near immediate relief (usually minutes) allows the injured person to rule down emotionally by not stimulating two very bad chemical mediators (glutamate, substance P). If these bad actors can be controlled then our simply produced (feel good) chemicals which come from the spinal cord and brain allow us to modulate down the perceived level of pain as well, (Gaba, Glycine, endocannabinoids, endorphins, monoamines, serotonin and norepinephrine).

When pain is not relieved swiftly the glutamate and substance P levels are allowed to over furnish and compete dramatically with our "feel good chemicals. Then the person starts getting irritable, sleep disturbance occurs and then depression sets in for the duration.

I could go into exactly each herb that is important to the control of pain, inflammation and healing, but it would take several articles to interpret all the details. I can tell you that each herb has been wholly studied and was found safe and effective. The herbal ingredients are; arnica, Msm, glucosamine, capsicum, emu oil and aloe vera.

My intended take home messages are; prosperous pain and inflammation control from the very starting of any injury is monumental, and oral anti-inflammatory /narcotic pills should be used only when the topical herbs fail.

How to Find the G Spot - What Stops Many Men From seeing the G Spot?

In this narrative you will discover:

Finger Joint Swelling

In this narrative you will discover:
*How to go about finding the g spot
*The truth about myth or two
*What stops most men from finding the g-spot

How does one go about finding the g-spot when one isn't sure that it exists... I am truly amazed... I was just watching a google video called "The Female Orgasm Explained", with all these women who allegedly knew their bodies. They were being interviewed about masturbation and female orgasms. I'm not sure when exactly this video was made, but all these women knew about the clitoris and how to stimulate it. But what amazed me was when it got to the G-Spot section and some of them weren't even sure if the G-Spot existed.

The nasty part about this was the fact that when they were asked if they were vaginally orgasmic, or clitorally orgasmic, most of the said clitoral. But how can one perhaps acknowledge that request fairly when you don't even know where the main culprit for vaginal orgasm lies or if it even exists!

The g-spot is no less a factual part of the female anatomy than breasts. And the sooner we can all accept that the g-spot exists, the sooner we can reap the benefits.

But now that my mini-rant is over, let's get on to finding the g-spot...

Firstly, the g-spot is not an abstract erogenous zone. What I mean by this is that I have had women tell me things like "My g-spot is my ear lobe" or "My g-spot is my left nipple". Whilst these are admittedly personal erogenous zones for these women, they are not their g-spot. When finding the g-spot, you should know that the location will not differ more than a few centimeters.

In the same Google video I mentioned above, they had to go to a sex therapist in a separate country to find their g-spot. But it is admittedly highly easy to find. Let me tell you my story of how I found my first g-spot.

What Stops Most Men from finding The G-Spot

Years ago, when I was still a young teenager, and I was with one of my first girlfriends, all I wanted to do was delight her in the best ways I could in order to get some practice, and finally make her happy. So I scoured the internet finding for ways of doing so... So after scouring the internet for hours, I knew that the g-spot existed and what kind of texture to expect. But whenever I inserted my fingers to look for it, I could never seem to find it. For months, I had no luck finding it. So off to the internet I went (again)... I found an narrative that "informed" me that some women don't have g-spots. And in my naivety, I blindly believed it. So I stopped looking.

But one day, after some intense foreplay, I inserted a finger and found a large, rough lump. For a combine seconds, I was admittedly quite scared because I concept there was something wrong with her. But upon added inspection, I realized that added in, the skin was still smooth. I started stroking and putting pressure on it. And every time I did, she squirmed and moaned... Anyway... This isn't an erotic novel so I'm going to leave my story there. But the unanswered request is... Did she grow a g-spot overnight?

Back to the internet... I read a few articles on g-spot pleasure, and looked that the stages of female arousal. Those four stages are arousal, plateau, orgasm and resolution. But what we're curious in here is the arousal (more in my "The Four Stages Of Female Arousal" article). During arousal, a woman's g-spot expands and becomes more sensitive. So actually, she hadn't grown a g-spot over night, but her g-spot had grown in the past hour...

So this is the importance of foreplay. Ever since, I have ensured that we indulged in a lot of foreplay. This way, her g-spot was always obvious. And not only that, but the swelling makes it more receptive to stimulation. A lack of arousal will stop you from finding the g-spot, and inhibit female orgasms (which is what most men want to help their lady to achieve).

So if you want to find the g-spot, you had good know that naturally knowing where it is and prodding at it will not perform orgasm (usually). You have to know the whole process...

Actually finding The G Spot - Step-By Step

1.Ensure the woman is aroused. Foreplay is key. If you are admittedly finding at her vagina, you will notice that her labia have more color to them if she is aroused.
2.Make sure she is will lubricated.
3.Insert your finger (hooking upwards towards her pubic bone and make sure you but your nails!). If she seems to be in pain at any point, stop. Anyway, you should only insert your finger about an half an inch to two and a half inches. For most men, their index finger should be in to about the second joint.
4.On the front wall of the vagina, you should feel a large lump. It will be rougher than the skin surrounding it. (It will be totally inevitable if you have looked for her g-spot before but it wasn't big adequate due to a lack of arousal. The dissimilarity is as clear as glass).

Just a last minute Fyi... The g-spot is not admittedly a spot. It is more of a normal area spanning an inch or two. But the woman will know which part of the g spot is most sensitive. So talk to her, communication is key. Almost all the women who I know have experienced both clitoral and g-spot orgasms prefer g-spot orgasms. But that's for other article.
